Intelligent Value Scores

A bounded comparative indicator.

Research: Under active modeling or analysis. Conclusions are provisional.

The Intelligent Value Score (IVS) maps value efficiency onto a bounded scale so transactions can be compared without implying precision the underlying estimates do not have.

IVS=1001+ek(ηη0)IVS = \frac{100}{1 + e^{-k(\eta - \eta_0)}}

where η\eta is value efficiency, η0\eta_0 the reference efficiency, and kk the steepness.

Hard safeguards

  • The IVS scores transactions, never people.
  • It must never be used as a social score, a credit gate, or an eligibility test for rights.
  • It must never be published in a way that permits re-identification of individuals.

These are requirements, not recommendations. See Protection Against Social Scoring.
