Win-Win Capitalism
The market philosophy of Intelligentism.
Accepted: Reviewed and adopted for the current release.
Statement
The ideal transaction creates value for the buyer, the seller, the surrounding community, and the wider system — not for one party at another's expense.
Intelligentism does not treat profit as suspect. It treats the source of profit as the thing worth measuring. Profit from producing something useful and profit from restricting access to something useful are recorded identically by conventional accounting and are not the same event.
Beneficiaries of an ideal transaction
- The buyer
- The seller
- The community
- The system
Caveat
Not every transaction can benefit all four. The claim is directional, not absolute: the framework should make win-win transactions more rewarded relative to extractive ones, and should be able to tell the difference. That measurement problem is Book IV's subject.
