Prosperity Measurement
Proposes a candidate prosperity function and the procedure for setting and auditing its weights.
Research: Under active modeling or analysis. Conclusions are provisional.
Motivation
The framework claims to increase system-wide prosperity. That claim is untestable without a published measurement.
Specification
Adopt the candidate function in Prosperity Function as a research object, not a target. Weights must be published, versioned, and produced by a disclosed procedure.
Rationale
Whoever sets the weights defines prosperity. The weighting procedure is therefore the substantive question, not the functional form.
Open questions
Weight-setting mechanism; separability of capability domains; distributional treatment.
